The Octave Advantage
good vibes clean pools

Reliable Technicians
There’s pool service, then there’s RELIABLE pool service. We provide the individual personalized care you expect, but your technician is backed up by the knowledge and service resources of the entire Octave crew.

Certified Professionals
We have a band of certified technicians (CPO & CST) extensively and continuously trained in the latest pool technology, chemistry and safety advancements.

Chemical Safety
Pool chemicals have a short shelf life, and during the Summer months there’s no margin for error when chemical demand skyrockets. We only use products that are in mint condition for your weekly pool maintenance needs.

Weekly Reports
Stay well-informed about the condition of your equipment and see all chemical readings with your personalized weekly report. You’ll know exactly when your pool was serviced, and have access to all of your reports through your customer portal at any time.

Extended Warranties
Major repair products come with the longest warranties in the industry. Installed Hayward and Pentair products offer 3-year warranties that are not available through regular retail outlets or that big-river website.

Simple Pricing
No surprises with our monthly billing. Since common chemicals are included with our service, the rate stays the same from month to month. Other companies make you pay for the mistakes their pool technicians make.

FAQ
FAQs
I've Never Had a Pool Man/Woman. What Does the Service Consist Of?
Pool service consists of weekly visits to test the chemical levels, add the proper amount of chemicals when needed, skim the surface of the pool, and brush the walls. Your technician will also empty the skimmer baskets and all the pump baskets. They will clean out any obstructions that may cause your pool cleaner to stop running, or make adjustments to your in-floor cleaning system if it’s not operating properly. They will backwash your filters if needed, and check for leaks in any part of the plumbing system and make adjustments. They will also notify you if any part of the system needs additional work, repair, or replacement. Picking up on small problems before they become big problems is the best financial strategy you can make to keep total cost of ownership as low as possible. Additionally, pool chemicals have a short shelf life. Whenever you buy chemicals from your local supplier or big box store, you have no idea of how long they’ve been on the shelf. By the time a homeowner gets to the bottom of a bucket of chemicals, they could loose a good deal of their potency. We only source the freshest chemicals for your pool. It’s not uncommon for your pool to look cloudier and dirtier after a service visit. This means your technician has done a good job of loosening up dirt and impurities from the pool’s walls and seating areas. These impurities will ultimately end up in your filter instead of building up and damaging your pool’s surfaces over time.
How Much Does It Cost?
Every pool is different, so the cost varies depending on many factors. For an average pool, the cost for weekly service is $145 per month with common chemicals included. Smaller pools may be less, more elaborate pools with multiple pumps, spas and water features may be a little more. Click on any of the links below, or fill out the form at the top of this page and we can provide you an exact quote asap.
Can I Cancel at Any Time?
Yes, we don’t have contracts or binding agreements for our weekly services.
Do You Service Vacation Rentals?
Yes, but we require a minimum of twice a week service. Anyone renting a vacation rental wants a clean pool, and the variables involved demand more than once a week service. We provide twice a week and three times a week service for vacation rentals so you can better guarantee a top of the line pool experience for your clients.
What Sets You Apart from Other Companies?
We continue to offer a flat-rate fee for weekly services so you can budget properly throughout the year with no surprises. We are also committed to the continuing education of our technicians through certification trainings and instruction at industry conferences throughout the year. We do this so your technician can stay up-to-date on all of the trends in safety, automation, and new products. With the growing complexity of pool systems, no single technician can be an expert in all aspects of your pool’s maintenance. Our company combines the talents of several service pofessionals to make sure all of your systems can be maintained throughout the year.
Are There Costs Not Covered by the Monthly Fee?
While the monthly fee covers a wide range of tasks, some other areas of maintenance can incur additional costs. Examples are filter cleanings, salt recharges, and phosphate treatments. If you’re having a party on Saturday and there was a storm right after your tech left, there can be a storm cleanup fee if additional service is requested.
Are There any Contracts?
No, we don’t have contracts or binding agreements. We only provide you with a Scope of Work itemization that outlines what services are provided for the monthly fee.
Do You Do Repairs?
We are fully qualified to do repairs for our weekly service customers. We focus on our permanent customer base, and do not offer repairs to the general public. As certified technicians, we will diagnose all problems with your system, and point you in the right direction if the repair involves anything outside of the pool equipment.
